Blogging Over Everything

Hey loves! This post will be one of the most passionate post I’ve done for a while. Currently I’ve been blogging for over two years now, and I struggled soooo hard in the beginning. Well, to be honest I still struggle to this day. Like most bloggers in this industry I have been trying to find my way as a blogger, you know, my purpose. To say it was easy to get to where I am today would definitely be a lie, but on October 22, 2020, I found my true purpose behind why I blog. Let me re-introduce myself, my name is Velma (aka Vee) and I am the woman behind the brand “Blogging Over Everything”.

What is Blogging Over Everything?

Blogging Over Everything which can also be known as (B over E or BOE), is a culture, a way of life. More specifically it is literally a way for all bloggers and supports of bloggers to represent the blogging community with branded blogging merchandise. Blogging Over Everything is my new business venture under the Vnewtondesigns, Designs By Vee LLC umbrella. Essentially Blogging Over Everything is a community, and furthermore a lifestyle. I want B Over E to represent the blogging community as a whole.

When you look around the world, especially right now, everyone has representation of who they are and what they love. Well I saw a gap that needed to be filled. The blogging community did not have any representation around the world. Something that said “I’m a blogger hear me roar”. (Ok, ok, not literally, but you get my point)😆 . I don’t know about you but I love representing things that I’m not only passionate about but something that represents the values that I have as well.

So I decided that I would create a brand for us by us. I want bloggers around the world to have something that they can show the world what they do, who they are, and what they are passionate about without having to say a word. I want the brand Blogging Over Everything to speak for your platform.

My Vision

I want every blogger around the world to be able to promote themselves in other ways besides the world wide web. Granted we are living in different times right now, but my vision for Blogging Over Everything is to be that conversation starter where there might not be one.

For Example

You’re walking in the grocery store and a woman walks up to you “do you blog?” “What’s your blog about?” Or maybe it’s a conversation like “hey! I blog too”. There you have it, a new subscriber, a new found local friend, who has something in common with you and it all started with a shirt, or a bag, or a tumbler that has Blogging Over Everything on it.

No one will understand a bloggers struggle quite like another blogger. Not a best friend, or a spouse, it’s just a different lifestyle. 💁🏽‍♀️ So blogging over everything is also a means to connect with other bloggers locally and worldwide.

Imagine just posting a picture on a social media platform that doesn’t need a caption? YOU are the caption. Your shirt, mug, bag, etc. spoke to your audience without you saying a word. How great is that?

To Be Honest

I’ve found lately that some people will only read a caption in full detail if the picture is relatable to them personally and of course “pretty”. Let blogging over everything be your voice when you don’t have one. Even though we’re not out in the world like we used to be, the world still sees us in plenty of different ways.

Rather it’s office webinars, virtual classrooms, or birthday parties, people around the world are still able to see you live and in color. Just picture your friends or colleagues seeing you in your blogging over everything shirt or drinking out of a mug?

If you’re anything like me, you never want anyone to feel like you’re pushing something on them. You naturally want them to want to read your blog right? I have never asked a family member to read any of my blog post, and that’s family, so of course I wouldn’t do it to my colleagues or friends. But having that representation physically on you or around you will have people wanting to know more.

In of one my blog post called Find Your Blogging Community I talked about how important it is to find like minded people who will support you no matter what. No judgment, no negativity, just understanding individuals who genuinely want to support you and who always have your back, and most importantly are always willing to help! That’s the (B Over E) culture, that’s the representation I want my brand to show the world.

How I Got The Idea

Funny story, I was actually scrolling through my business Instagram timeline and I ran across this post by pixistock that had my mind racing! It was a motivational post about her journey and how she did everything wrong at first, and she ended it with this question.

That one question brought me to blogging over everything because I didn’t have a product that I was selling. I use to design Pinterest and Instagram post for people who couldn’t do it themselves, or just didn’t have the time. But then that gap was filled with Tailwind Create amongst other platforms. So in my mind that left me with nothing.

So while taking a shower I came up with the idea. Literally my best business ideas come to me in the shower. 🛀🏽😋 Either way that one post changed my life.

I take pride in being a blogger and I love the fact that now I get to provide merchandise that represents just how amazing we are. Now the world, no matter where we go, can notice us. Hopefully they can even get a better understanding of what a real life blogger looks like in there own town, city, heck all fifty states. Let blogging over everything be your conversation starter today!

What Can Blogging Over Everything Do For You?

Like I mentioned before it’s a conversation starter to talk about your blog. It will help build friendships world wide with like minded people. And for those who actually have a product or products that they currently sell, this could be a way for you to say thank you to your subscribers, customers, and/or clients.

Think about it like this, you have a e-book that you are selling, how amazing would it be if you gave everyone who bought a book an blogging over everything pen as a Thank you? Especially if your products are for bloggers or potential bloggers.

Because I want the world to know us when they see us, I’m allowing all bloggers to buy any of my products in bulk for a discounted price. Just email me on my shop page and we can go from there. You will also be able to add your blogging website, and/or name to majority of the merchandise that you buy in bulk. I’m a start-up so I’m taking things one step at a time, but I want you to see my vision and be willing to represent our community in style.

For Those Who Don’t Blog

Just because you are not a blogger does not mean this brand isn’t for you. It’s like six degrees of separation. Although you personally do not blog, does not mean you don’t know someone who blogs. Or better yet, have read an amazing blog in your lifetime. Honestly you could just love the brand and movement and want the world to know about the blogging community.

Or how about you be the conversation starter for your favorite blogger! Help promote your favorite travel blogger or the blogger with the best recipes! When someone ask about your gear (ie. Shirt, bag etc.) just let them know who you follow. Trust me that blogger will thank you!

In all honesty you can just love the merchandise and buy it. I’m sure any of my (B over E) gear will look amazing on you 😉.
