Retail Associates
When you are at the checkout and the customer proceeds to place the money on the counter.
From an associate’s point of view, that has to be the most disrespectful thing that you can do. You might as well slap me in the face while your at it.
How would YOU like it if I gave you not only your change back on the counter but also your receipt?
Motto here: Do unto others as you would have them do unto YOU.
What are your thoughts or takeaways on this matter?

This definitely was a pet peeve when I worked in retail! Like, my hand is out for a reason! Unless you say, “One moment while i count my money.” Some kind of courtesy. 😂

I mean really! I literally look at people…like REALLY? The change & receipt you’re expecting in your hand…..check that counter top 🤣🤣🤣🤣
