My thoughts and prayers 🙏🏾 are seriously with you all during this time. If you’re anything like me, you are trying to be as productive as possible while on punishment, I mean quarantine 😏. I have legit cleaned my house almost EVERYDAY and I’m starting to give up 🤷🏾‍♀️. I mess up the house as fast as I clean it, and the two places I find myself cleaning the most is my kitchen and my room. Which ironically are the two areas in my house that I’m consistently in. Which is probably why it looks like a tornado came through it 😁🤦🏾‍♀️. So with that being said I want to start out with organizing the kitchen.

I don’t know about you but I know my new office is my kitchen! Not the best set up, but it’s all I could pull together through the pandemic. I didn’t want to use my office in which I gain inspiration to write all these amazing blog post because I didn’t want my work juju to rub off on all my amazing creativity.😏 Needless to say I get to look around my home and see all my unfinished projects. You know the ones you use to tell yourself you would get to when you had the time? 😂🙄

Look this is a no judgement zone. Which is why I started with the Kitchen first. The first thing I noticed that I needed during this pandemic that I didn’t think of was cereal containers. I saw a YouTube video on sanitizing through the Coronavirus when shopping. The guy (who I do believe was a nurse) stated that you should take your cereal out the box and throw the box away. Which sounded smart since we learned that the virus can live on surfaces. Well if you did that, that would leave you with a million plastic bags in your pantry full of cereal. Totally not cute, that’s primarily what started me on my organizing journey. Hence my first way of getting your kitchen organized.

Now some of you may already have some of these kitchen organizing saviors already in place. But for those of you like myself who still needs to get a handle on LIFE. I’ve made it a little easier, here are some great suggestions to get you started with organizing through this pandemic.

100 Stainless Steel Kitchen Worktop Organizer
Rubbermaid Large Expandable Cutlery Drawer Organizer

Now this next item I actually have. I’m talking about in my kitchen drawer right now as I type. This cutlery or as I say it “silverware organizer” is everything! I mean a complete lifesaver, and it is so durable and inexpensive. The best thing about all of these items is that they can be order online and delivered right to your house. #safetyfirst

Master Bedroom Essentials

Another place in my house that I spend a lot of time in these days is my bedroom. For those of you who have been following my journey over the past couple of months or years then you know I recently bought my first house and I have yet to get my rooms in place. So I’m using this stay-at-home order as a way to get my chaotic house in order. See people you have to see the good in all the day that happens.

No Nails Wall Organizer
Bench Organizer
32-Compartment Drawer Organizer
Jewelry Organizer Cabinet
Makeup Marble Case

The makeup organizer was a game changer for me. I actually bought one before the pandemic because my lipsticks and makeup brushes were everywhere and/or thrown in a makeup bag to never be seen again. 😁 I decided to purchase one of these bad boys, and now not only am I more organized, I am more efficient when putting on my makeup. Not that it will be a problem right now. but when outside opens back up, I will be ready!

Closest Desires

I am always up for a better way to re-organize my closet. Right now what I call organization is have color coated velvet hangers. The color dictates the season, also known as stay or go in my closet world. Here are a few ideas that I also plan on incorporating into my closets. Let me know if any of these will work for you too!

Guest Favorites

Now when it comes to guest favorites these are the things every house guest dreams of. Granted you never want anyone to overstay their welcome but you also want to take heed to the saying “mi casa es su casa”. (For all my spanish majors or anyone who speaks fluent spanish please feel free to correct me). 😂

Over-the-Door Oval Mirror Organizer

Who doesn’t like a good over the door mirror that can hold everything you need to get ready?

Wireless Charging Station

This little gadget right here is perfect for all those guest who seem to pack everything but a charger. I’m sure you’ve had this guest before. I know I have.

Paper Wall Beauty Organizer
Remote Control Organizer
Carved Wood Floor Leaning Mirror

Ladies you can thank me later. No room, better yet a guest room is complete without a full length mirror. What are we savages?? 🤔😂 Do your guest a favor and cop you a full length mirror while organizing through this pandemic.

When All Else Fails…

When all else fails get a glass of wine, or a bottle and kick your feel up and relax. You get a A for effort just by reading this post. You know why? Because you were brave enough to attempt the journey of organizing your house, apartment, or room. Let’s be real we are all trying to find our new norm, and guess what no one is perfect at it right now. I felt like writing a post about cleaning would bring more of my orgazing skills out and make me MORE productive than I’ve been the last month while working from home.

While you are at home drinking your wine, beer, and/or juice use this time to turn your everyday space into your sanctuary. I’m sure a lot of us wish we had already, and by a lot of us I’m talking about me. Your new work space, and/or classroom should still bring you peace. So if you’ve gotten nothing from this post at least take this with you, make sure every space in your home has something that brings you peace.
