Shoplifting At Its Best

Now this literally happened to me yesterday while at work. We had these two VERY strategic shoplifters come into our store to steal. I would like to call them “Regulars” because they are ALWAYS trying to steal something. I mean really, they would steal a hair bow off the rack if we sold them.

I just don’t get it. Is stealing a pair of jeans or a top REALLY worth going to jail? Then to top it off they have the audacity to get upset when you speak to them and ask “You doing alright?” “You need any help with anything?” Granted they are rhetorical questions, but still! I am asking you for a reason.

Let’s just jump right into the Associates and Customers point of views!

Associates Point of View – “Yes, I see you stealing and yes I’m gonna continue to bother you as you try to rip off the store.”

Customers Point of View – “If that b**** don’t leave me alone and stop staring at me I’m gonna cuss her a** out.”

I will be THE first to tell you that “I don’t get paid enough to be dealing with any shoplifters.” So I’m not saying or doing s***. Handle ya business and keep it moving. Last time I checked that was NOT my name on the clothes and I don’t recall being hired as security.

I come in and do my job and I go home. I have no time for fake one’s.

If you have ever worked in retail you get where I’m coming from. For those of you who come in to STEAL we see you! You might not get caught today or tomorrow but Karma is a b**** and I for one am a true believer in that.

Moral of the Story: Karma is a B****!

Omg yes! They are triflingggg for this one! It just amazes me that they come in and are so surprised that we are “following” them and and we know is “customer service “ smh Good one Welmaaaaa

There’s a MASSIVE outlet mall in our county. People come from states away to shoplift. If an associate would call 911 and give us a description and car description. We could catch em 90% of the time. One couple stole $45,000 from the Burberry outlet 😳 GO GET A JOB! It makes me so mad! But it’s always awesome when we could catch them! 👍🏼

Are you SERIOUS???? Did they catch them? I promise you, it urks my nerves. I don’t have time for stupid. By time mall security or the cops come they are usually gone which is crazy. What is mall security here for??? OMG! It’s nice to see the other side of things. Talk to the people who actually gets to catch the “bad guys”. 😏

I’m not chasing you out no store but I will annoy you and stare you down!…they steal bc they know most Associates aren’t going to so anything once they leave out that door. Leave them be CHILE!

You are absolutely right! I did just that until I started laughing at the “guy” then I REALLY had to walk away! 😂😂😂 They get BIG mad when you stare or laugh at them.
